It seems like yesterday, that we said goodbye to 2016 and although 2017 is greeting us with a lot of exciting new launches in the skincare and beauty community, 2016 has also given us some amazing products that became must-haves and that carry on strong into the new year.
Today’s post is dedicated to 5 fabulous skincare products, that perform beautifully and deserve a shout out. Appropriate for most skin types, these products will most likely continue to be staples in our daily routines also in 2017.
Drunk Elephant, a company that develops non-toxic skincare products. If you want to see instant results, then this is the product for you… The T.L.C. Framboos™ Glycolic Night Serum is a dream product, gentle yet effective this serum helps refine and resurface skin to reveal a smoother and more radiant looking complexion. Yes, it might be pricey ($90 for 1 oz / 30 ml) but worth every penny! Available via Drunk Elephant or Sephora.
The True Cream Aqua Bomb, from the Korean Brand Belief does exactly that. For an instant boost of hydration, an ideal cream for drenched skin. Perfect for combo and oily skin due to its fast absorbing gel-like texture. I also apply it as a thick an overnight moisturizing mask. Available at Sephora for $38 for 1.68 oz / 50 ml of product.
Get your skin glowing and improve it’s texture with the Kate Somerville ExfoliKate® Intensive Exfoliating Treatment. A great product, for all skin types except sensitive skin. It combats acne and blackheads, reduces discoloration, and polishes skin for a smooth complexion. I use it once or twice a week and it does the trick beautifully! Available at Sephora for $24 for 0.5 oz of product.
Remove all your makeup without any residue. This is one of the best makeup removing products I came across so far and that I can’t recommend enough. If you don’t believe me get a sample and try it out! The Purity Made Simple Facial Wash by Philosophy, just melts your makeup away while being gentle to your skin at the same time. Appropriate for all skin types. Available at Sephora for $36 for a bottle of 16oz.
After all the cleaning it’s time for some soothing skin-pampering. Pick and choose depending on your mood, or better said your skin’s mood! I love the Cover FX Custom Infusion Drops and I don’t even mix them with any other products, I apply them straight to my face. A bit pricey for sure, but sooooo….. worth the investment! Available via Sephora for $48 for 0.5 oz/ 15ml of product.
