In case you are wondering if you should get the new Coconut Infused Dew Drops from Marc Jacobs, hesitate no longer. This stuff is truly amazing!
At the beginning, I was quite unsure if this product will work for me. Having an oily T-Zone, I stay away from everything that is described as, shiny, dewy, illuminating, oily, etc..! With the Dew Drops, I was pleasantly surprised, to discover that they come in a gel formula…youhuuu!
The 50 CHF (44$) price tag is a bit hefty, I know, but I got mine from France for 39 Euros (seriously Sephora?) plus the amount you are getting (0.8 oz / 24 ml) will last you for a lifetime since this stuff is potent and you will only need the tiniest amount.
I love to mix the drops with my Coconut Primer from Marc Jacobs or straight with my foundation in order to get a radiant glow from within that doesn’t feel sticky nor greasy. I combined it with one of my favorite foundations for the summer the ‘Naked Skin One And Done’ from Urban Decay and the formulas worked very well together. The best application tool I found was the beauty blender or my fingers. Just be careful that you don’t overdo it and that you work fast since the drops dry down quickly.
But the application doesn’t stop there, for a more intense glow one can apply it straight from the bottle as a highlighter (Be careful!) or even mix it with your moisturizer. Another tip is to mix it with your sunscreen lotion and apply it not only to your face but also to your body… ohhh did I mention that the Dew Drops smell also amazingly like coconuts?!
Here I am wearing the drops as described above… I love the finish and the glow it gives to the skin and as you can see it is not oily at all…I hope that you found this review helpful! Let me know in the comments section below if you have already tried the Dew Drops already? If yes, what are your thoughts about this beauty product? If not, would you consider buying it?
